There have been instances of artificial gold being sold to the client as the real McCoy, so make sure that when you are buying your items, to keep a beagle eye out for the trademark symbol, a circle encircling a ‘H’.

The best time to visit the markets would be the late afternoon, when the sun wouldn’t be so harsh on the skin. If you are residing at one of the hotels on the beachfront, then you will be glad to know that these hotels offer their guests free shuttle bus rides to the Deira markets, such visits typically happening in the afternoon. You could shop here even after sunset since most of these shops are generally open till 10 pm since most of the tourists seem to hit these shops only after the sun has set.

The main (and biggest) attraction of the Dubai gold market over any other market is the low price which is charged over there. In comparison with markets in other places like, say, Europe, the price is lower here by as much as 60%! That is crazzzzyy! While purchasing at the gold souk, try to make use of cash instead of credit cards since you will be in a position to bargain better.
